“A wise man became wise only after he asked a thousand questions. Never stop asking questions, doubt everything until it makes sense and gives you peace of mind. Begin experimenting, heal and live life fully.”

Elsa Lesser

How long does a session last?

A session can last up to 45 minutes.

How often would I have to go?

The number of sessions depends on many individual factors for each patient.

What is Ericksonian hypnosis?

Ericksonian hypnosis is an altered or alternative state of consciousness, in which therapists communicate with the unconscious mind through stories, tales, and imagination. Thus, the unconscious mind healthily adjusts, heals, and assimilates what needs to be modified. It is not a hypnosis show, and patients do not lose consciousness. It is a professional technique where the unconscious mind healthily accommodates and integrates different parts, since all patients have their own tools to heal and improve safely. Ericksonian hypnosis is an effective, brief, kind, and non-aggressive technique. Milton H. Erickson believed that therapy should not make patients suffer.

Can hypnosis be used during online consultations?

Yes.

In couples therapy, must both members of the relationship come for consultation or only one of us can go?

Couples therapy involves two people; individual therapy is a one-on-one therapy session with one person, although couple issues may be addressed. In marital counseling, both spouses need to come to therapy voluntarily.

If I want to bring my child to therapy, should he or she come alone or I need to accompany them?

If they are minors, both parents (or only one of them) are asked to come first. Based on that initial session, the therapy method and the way in which we will work are established according to the circumstances of each case.
